The first step in any apprenticeship is to get a job with an employer who is willing to sponsor you as a registered apprentice with the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD).
As an apprentice, you learn while you earn from experienced workers on the job. To progress in your trade, you can attend SNP to complete your in-school technical training taught by qualified trades instructors.
Six Nations Polytechnic University is an approved Training Delivery Agent (TDA) and delivers apprentice programs in welding, machining and cook. To register into SNP apprentice programs you must have an employer sponsor, be signed on as an apprentice through the MLSTD, and have received your Offer of Classroom Training.
Interested in taking an apprentice program at SNP check our Intake Details and Registration.
