This June, Six Nations Polytechnic (SNP) came together to celebrate student success at its Annual Celebration on June 11, 2026, and Convocation on June 18, 2026. These special events recognized students for their hard work, dedication, and achievements across a variety of programs and credentials. SNP proudly celebrated 147 graduates as they crossed the stage to receive their degrees, diplomas, and certificates, surrounded by family, friends, and staff.

The Annual Celebration and Convocation ceremonies highlighted the accomplishments of students from many different areas of study. The Annual Celebration recognized students from programs including University Consortium Year 1, Concurrent Disorders, Community & Justice Services, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker, Personal Support Worker, Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees (Indigenous), Practical Nursing, Pre-Apprenticeship General Machinist, Pre-Apprenticeship Welding, and We Are Welders – Women in Welding. Convocation honoured graduates from the Honours Bachelor of Arts in Ogwehoweh Languages and the Bachelor of Arts in Ogwehoweh Languages programs.

“We are here today because of your determination but also because of support networks of caring and dedicated people and the power of community.  With the new skills and knowledge you’ve obtained, think about how you are going to be a catalyst to support and encourage other people and how you will play an active role in building the power of community and work to uplift the people you interact with.”

- Dr. Rick Anderson, Interim President & CEO

Together, these events celebrated learners who have built valuable skills, knowledge, and experience that will help them succeed in their careers and make meaningful contributions to their communities. SNP hopes graduates carry forward the teachings, values, and knowledge they gained during their time at SNP as they continue their personal, academic, and professional journeys.
