Reported Positive Case of COVID-19 at Six Nations Polytechnic, Ohswken Campus

Today, an individual reported a confirmed Covid-19 positive case at Six Nations Polytechnic (SNP) Ohsweken Campus. This person has not recently accessed the site. Understandably, for privacy reasons, we are not able to provide further details on this individual's identity.

In addition to announcing a case on Friday, February 26, 2021, this brings SNP’s reported active Covid-19 case count to two. These cases have not been deemed to be related. Over the weekend the school completed a disinfecting and sanitization process. As a reminder, our closures for this week are listed below:

  • SNP STEAM Academy closed March 1-5, 2021 to staff and students. SNP STEAM Academy students will revert to online learning for this period.
  • SNP College and Trades Closed March 1, 2021, to all staff and students. SNP staff and college/trades students may return March 2, 2021, for previously scheduled on-site access
  • SNP Ohsweken Campus remains closed to the public. Staff may access the building for priority matters by request.
