"Roadmaps to Reconciliation and Reparations" - University of Guelph visits SNP!

On April 23rd, Six Nations Polytechnic welcomed the University of Guelph for a Roadmaps to Reconciliation and Reparations event. 

The day began with Skaronhyase'ko:wa's Grade 2/3 class singing and dancing to social songs. SNP presenters Katie Maracle and Bobby Henry shared the history of Indigenous Institutes, SNP’s offerings, barriers faced by Indigenous learners, and personal educational experiences. 

A delicious catered lunch was followed by a panel discussion featuring three of SNP's own learners and three engaging breakout sessions. 

This marks the start of a meaningful partnership! Nya:węh to the University of Guelph for visiting SNP!
