International Students

At this time, Six Nations Polytechnic does not accept international students into our programing. Exceptions are made, as per the Jay Treaty, for Native Americans from the United States. 
If you identify as Indigenous you can proceed with an application at Six Nations Polytechnic. If accepted into a program you will be required to provide the following: 
  • Study Permit 
  • Visa or electronic travel authorization (eTA), if applicable. 
  • Confirmation of health insurance while in Canada 
  • Confirmation of housing arrangements during study period 
  • Documentation of citizenship or enrolment with a US Tribe; Certificate Degree of Indian Blood; Tribal Enrollment or ID card, letter from Haudenosaunee Confederacy Chiefs Council, Tribal Council, or Nation, other sources of documentation for proof of ancestry will be reviewed.
