Awaken creativity and potential, acknowledging connections to Indigenous story, song, dance, and movement. Explore new Indigenous performance styles grounded in strong cultural teachings and practice with acknowledgement to the land, body and spirit. The learned choreography will be performed at the WIPCE 2017 closing ceremonies.
This workshop will include intense warm-ups & energetic choreography.
Requirements:
Some experience in dance, athletic apparel, water bottle, and an open mind
NOTE:
Each track must have a minimum of 30 participants registered for the track to run.
