Master Class 2 Facilitator
Dr. Hohaia Collier is the Executive Director of Academic Provision at Te Wānanga o Raukawa in Aotearoa / New Zealand. He previously served as a career soldier in the New Zealand Army with service in the Middle East, South East Asia and Europe. He is an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM).
His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Administrative Leadership (BA.L), Master of Laws and Philosophy (MML), Master of Mātauranga Māori (MMM), Master of Te Reo Māori (M. Reo), Doctor of Education (Ed. D) and he is the inaugural recipient of Te Kāurutanga, (an Indigenously designed, supervised and examined post-doctoral award).
Dr. Collier is currently the Executive Co-chair of the World Indigenous Nations Higher Education Consortium and serves on the Executive of the World Indigenous Nations University (WINU). His other interests include free-diving, traditional environmental conservation methods, educational emancipation for Indigenous peoples and the wise sayings of elders. He is currently pursuing another doctoral award with WINU.
