Course Description

This course provides an introduction and broad overview of existing cultural values, philosophies, and practices in Hodinohsó:ni’ communities. Topics may include beliefs and practices pertaining to life, death, food, family, kinship, history, governance, timekeeping, and the natural world. Work will be conducted in English as well as in the chosen program language (Cayuga/Mohawk).
