January 12, 2022 Update

Six Nations Polytechnic re-opening updates
Update January 12, 2022

Six Nations Polytechnic STEAM Academy has made the difficult decision to continue with online learning through to January 21, 2022, all other programming will proceed as outlined in Table-1 below. As the Six Nations community continues to be disproportionately affected by COVID-19, and details on the provincial response for the public schools not yet released, we believe this additional time will allow for better planning and preparation for our return to on-site learning within the current climate.  SNP STEAM Academy has secured additional resources to support those with internet challenges and will follow up with details.

As a reminder, Six Nations Polytechnic has implemented several measures to support the health and safety of our learning community.  These measures include but are not limited to:

  • Vaccination policy
  • On-site rapid testing program
  • Reduced on-site population
  • Increased cleaning and sanitization
  • PPE/mask mandate
  • Reduced on-site activities

We continue to monitor and respond to the emerging COVID-19 situation.  More information can be found on our webpage https://www.snpolytechnic.com/COVID-19
