Ogwehoweh Storytelling Festival Day 2

Hosted by Six Nations Polytechnic from the Six Nations of the Grand River campus, the online Ogwehoweh Storytelling Festival is a series of storytelling seminars and panels including readings and discussions featuring Six Nations and local authors, literary agencies, and musicians. Taking place on Wednesday, August 25th, and Thursday, August 26th from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily with an opening address on Tuesday, August 24th at 6:00 PM. Three, 2-hour literary sessions are scheduled each day with two musical breaks by Six Nations musicians. Registration is free. Viewers can register for one, more, or all sessions throughout the Festival.  

The Festival hopes to inspire, inform and celebrate Six Nations literary talents and resources. The Festival will have much to offer educators, new and established writers as well as readers. Scheduled programs include; Memoir Writing, Poets and Spoken Word Artists, Indigenous Literary Industry Panel, Children’s Authors, and Storytellers in Film. Giveaways will be announced throughout each day.
