Parents/Guardians matter as vital partners who contribute much to the work of our educators, schools, and communities. They matter as leaders, mentors, and models of commitment to excellence in education, and they matter every day as they influence and support their children’s academic achievement. (Adapted from Parents in Partnership. MOE. 2010)

Contact the school with inquiries on how to become involved or increase your involvement with the STEAM Academy school community.

School Visitors - All visitors, including parents, are to report to the office upon arrival. Unauthorized visitors are not allowed on SNP STEAM Academy property. This includes friends not attending SNP STEAM Academy, and family not authorized by parents/guardians.

Volunteers - SNP STEAM welcomes the contributions of volunteers in the school and the shared knowledge and skills are valued, as partnerships with volunteers are established. Contact the STEAM Academy administrator to discuss volunteer opportunities and the necessary protocols that are in place at the campus.

School-Family Communication - SNP STEAM Academy will maintain ongoing communication throughout the school year, and encourage the same from our families. Administration and teachers may use phone calls, email, texts, monthly newsletters, and paper notices. Brightspace for Parents and STEAM Academy Facebook are other electronic options. Contact STEAM Academy for further details.

Feedback from Families

STEAM Academy seeks feedback from parents/guardians as well as family and community members on a regular basis to make sure that we are best supporting our students and fulfilling the needs of the community. Please take some time to fill out this community feedback survey:
